Tell us about the bride: Where you grew up, went to school, where you work.
Karen grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and currently works as a Sales Training Manager at Bausch and Lomb Vision Care.
Tell us about the groom: Where you grew up, went to school, where you work.
Keith grew up in Middlesex, NJ. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and currently works as a Sr. Analyst Sales Finance Nestle Nutrition, Gerber division.
How did you first meet? Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details.
Keith and I knew we had met “the one” on our first date. We met like most people do in this day and age, on Match.com. Who knew Kagcruzen300 in the red Rutgers football jersey was chosen as one of my “must see matches” that night in late October 2015 would be the man whom I’d say “yes” to in OUR backyard just 9 months later? Our first date was planned like most internet first dates. Keith invited me to get a drink at a local place in Morristown on Saturday, November 21st. With butterflies in our stomachs we met outside of Sona13 and began a date that would last 10 hours. We started with a drink, pumpkin beer to be exact and before we knew it, 2 hours had passed. The “just drinks date” quickly turned into dinner, then dancing and finished with talking till 3am while closing down a local bar. Keith and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to talk to each other and how quickly time passed. Little did we know this would be how our courtship progressed. Each time we were together we would be amazed at how quickly time passed and how we just kept talking. During Christmas, we were apart but that didn’t stop us from being with each other over Skype. We knew it was serious when our days apart were spent on the phone with each other.
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did? etc.
It was in December when they went into the city to meet Karen’s friends Laura and Joe.
How did he propose? (Did you see it coming? How long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)
Keith proposed to Karen one Friday night in the summer of 2016. They had just bought a house in Randolph, NJ and were shopping for couches that day. Later on, Keith suggested they go out to the backyard to drink champagne under the stars in their new backyard. Karen hemmed and hawed because it was late and she didn’t want to stay up, but finally she gave in. After some trouble getting down to the yard with champagne and chocolate, Keith proposed a toast and as he spoke it started to sink in that it wasn’t just any toast. Karen was exited, nervous and overwhelmed with happiness when Keith got down on one knee to ask if she’d marry him.

The Rockleigh Country Club Hosts a Special Day
At this past wedding, the food was delicious, the flowers were inspiring, and the DJ kept the guests entertained for the entire night. It was a classic wedding with all of the traditional wedding activities and traditions. The bride and groom tied the knot in front of friends and family in a beautiful ceremony that symbolized the love that they share.
The Reception
The couple shared their first dance. The speeches contained a right mix of lighthearted fun and touching moments about their connections to the bride and groom and the love that they share.
Dinner was a gourmet delight but the real star of the day was the delicious cake. The baker outdid themselves by creating a treat that not only looked remarkable but tasted as good as it looked. If you have been to many weddings, you probably know that this is not always the case. After dinner was served, the real party began as the dance floor was occupied by the guests. The DJ played a great mix of music that was able to satisfy both the young and old. The wedding was a grand celebration and of course, all of these magical moments captured by the talents of David Eric Photography.
