Nayibe grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia. She graduated from Montclair State University and now works for Univision Communication.
Tell us about the groom: Where you grew up, went to school, where you work.

Wedding at Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Hackensack, NJ.
How did you guys first meet? Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details.
We met while going to the same high school. We were good friends at first and eventually that lead to us becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
When did you know he was the one? Was there something he did?
I always knew he was the one!
Incredible day at the equally incredible venue of Church of Saint Anthony of Padua.
Tell us about the proposal? Did you see it coming? (What long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)
While on our trip last year to Aruba, he proposed. I had no idea. It was a really special moment for me. Although, I must say, he was scared on our way to Aruba that he would lose the ring. He refused to give up the famous backpack (where he had the ring hidden).
Tell us the one thing that you love most about each other.
We care about one another and our families!
Always make sure you take the time to get portraits with the bride and groom! These are images they will cherish for many years to come.
If you feel comfortable, share with us something silly or quirky the other person does.
He’s constantly asking me to scratch his back and it doesn’t matter the time, place, or circumstance.
Besides getting married – what is the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
For both of us to enjoy it to the fullest!

The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua Hosts a Special Day
At this past wedding, the food was delicious, the flowers were inspiring, and the DJ kept the guests entertained for the entire night. It was a classic wedding with all of the traditional wedding activities and traditions. The bride and groom tied the knot in front of friends and family in a beautiful ceremony that symbolized the love that they share.
The Reception
The couple shared their first dance. The speeches contained a right mix of lighthearted fun and touching moments about their connections to the bride and groom and the love that they share.
Dinner was a gourmet delight but the real star of the day was the delicious cake. The baker outdid themselves by creating a treat that not only looked remarkable but tasted as good as it looked. If you have been to many weddings, you probably know that this is not always the case. After dinner was served, the real party began as the dance floor was occupied by the guests.
