The Photographer
Jerry and Caroline Rizzo are just like you. They are husband and wife. They have a family. They are one. They understand what’s going through your mistyle=”font-family: book antiqua,;”>nd and they call upon their own wedding joy to better capture yours. The day that approaches is about emotion. It’s about two people standing before everyone they love and honor and promising to do just that for each other until the end of their days. It’s a time to reflect on how lucky we are to have such wonderful people in our lives and we here at David Eric Photography don’t want you to miss a thing. It’s our promise to capture every kiss, every dance, every smile and every tear and to do so with grace and poise.
The Mystery of the Studio Name
David Eric Studio was named for its original owner David Eric Mayer. He opened the studio over 30 years ago in Upper Montclair. Jerry and Caroline Rizzo acquired the New Jersey studio on February 28,1992 and chose to keep the name due to its long history in the industry. Jerry and Caroline cater to clients who appreciate the high degree of professionalism and personal attention they provide. This is necessary to create the finest quality of artistic photography. Jerry and Caroline personally oversee all the details of each couple from the initial appointment until the final delivery of the album. They accept a limited number of events in order to ensure the highest standard of quality and service. There is a staff of three here at David Eric Studio. Jerry and Caroline, have won awards for album design and their photography. Caroline was just awarded The Fuji Masterpiece award as well as the court of Honor Plaque at the Professional Photographers of New Jersey Convention. Our goal is to make each album unique. We believe that album creation is a partnership. As part of the album design process, we spend as much time as needed with the client, so that your pictures display their personality. Caroline personally oversees and pre-designs your wedding album.
We Understand
Here is what Kathleen had to say:
Out of all the things you need to book for a wedding, my shop around for a wedding photographer took the longest and I am glad I found David Eric Photography. They didn’t need to give us a long sales pitch because the p
roof is in the quality. The sample wedding albums sold us on their work right away!
An engagment photo shoot was included in our package and we were soooo happy with the photos. My husband and I tend to be very critical of how we look in pictures but these were amazing and the view of NYC in the background was beautiful. Jerry came up with some great spots and poses. Plus, it was great to work with Jerry and Caroline before the big day.
I say they are more than just photographers because they were so helpful on the wedding day. Jerry came to my house for the bridal portraits and got all the still shots without me even knowing. He found my shoes, jewelry, and bouquet on his own and took some great pics. I didn’t have to get involved which was nice since the day can be so chaotic. Another reason they go above and beyond is because after the ceremony, I ripped my train a little in the church and Caroline took control of the situation by willing to sew my train before we even got out of the church to see all the guests. Also, Jerry and Caroline are great with kids. I have two nieces, ages 2 and 5, who were my flower girls, and Jerry and Caroline were both great with getting them to be where they need to be for photos and to get them to look at the camera and smile.
My family and bridal party raved to me about how great our photographers were at the wedding and I agree! Overall, Jerry and Caroline were great at the wedding and the beautiful pictures we have are proof of their high quality work!
